I have a script in a field that takes 3 other fields and formats them into 1 address field that is formatted nicely.Works great if the user is inputting them in but I would like it to work if I import data into those 3 fields - but it is not.Code is below. I have this as a calculation script:event.value = this.getField("shipper_name").value + "\n"+ this.getField("shipper_address1").value + "\n";if (this.getField("shipper_address2").value!="")    event.value += this.getField("shipper_address2").value + "\n";event.value += this.getField("shipper_city").value + ", "+ this.getField("shipper_state").value+ " " + this.getField("shipper_postal_code").value;I figure it has to do because the script is triggered only after the field is existed and when importing no field is getting entered/exited - therefore the script does not run.Is there a way to have the script trigger when the data is imported or maybe when the file is opened?

Hi,I've downloaded the SDK 7.0 for Linux and unzipped.  Am unclear on which binaries to install or if I need to do a make/compile first.  There appears to be two binaries in the unzipped folders.  makekey and makeppi.  Are these the binaries?  If so, how can I get a listing of the methods/functions in each?  Want to determine which binary contains the  methods/functions outlined in the SDK 7.0 object model.Have code working on Windoze side but need to port over to linux.Any help or guidance to resources would be most appreciated.Thank you.Scott

I have a group of 15 check boxes, if one of them (or more) is checked, then I would like field to show. If none are checked, the field disappears. How would I do this?Additionally, if the check boxes and fields are updated (if spawned), how would this work?

I need a script to calculate the nth day of the year.  I would like to input a date on a form, and then have a script in a different field that takes that date and tells me the nth day of the year for the date I input in the other field.  Example: I would like to input May 31, 2019 in a date field and the in another field put on the script which would  using that date and  show the number 151 in this case.  I have searched the net and found some discussion but nothing that works in adobe. (they go on and on about time zones and leap year etc.) I just need something simple that works in adobe.

Hello,I am having an issue with a section of my code which I have tried nearly EVERYTHING I can think of to correct. I have a form which is being used as a Vacation request form. On it I have two date pickers which matter:Start Date --> Date_5End Date--> Date_6I am trying to calculate the difference in days between these two dates factoring out Holidays (which are stored in an array) & working weekends (also stored in an array) and Weekends (which I have set in an Array of two values "SAT" & "SUN"). For right now my employer does not have a need for working weekends but it has been discussed (time in lieu etc) so it was important that it is there as an option. When I get my start date and end dates captured (code block 1 below) and have them run through the function (getDateArray) something VERY odd happens. The formatting I want is perfect BUT the start date gets bumped "up" one day and thus all of the calculations are wrong.EX:I select May 27, 2019 as my start date. I t

Is there a way for me to create an Excel spreadsheet and use it to fill in information on a pdf form and have it linked so that the template updates if the spreadsheet is updated?For instance I want to be able to select a lot and block from a community and have it fill in the FEMA community name, the FIRM panel, index date, revised date, flood zone, and 100 year flood plain. Then later if the index date or revised date of a panel change be able to change them in the spreadsheet and have the template reflect that change but I don't want any of the files that were created before the change to update. Perhaps auto mail merge would work?

I am exploring SDK samples, where I have found a sample code to extract image info using PDDocEnumResources API which is calling callback procedure with Cos obj, as per sample code it is easy to extract image info of XObject as mentioned in this screenshot  but how to  extract this Image Stream from CosObj ?

Hey. I'm quite illiterate when it comes to Adobe Acrobat, but now I have to create a form. First obstacle, how can I use a checkbox (i.e. tick checkbox action) to show text? (actually both just text but also text and form). Is there a way to do this? is it dynamic enough to do this or shall I just give up. Objective is to have one form for different audiences, and some information should be visible to those who tick the checkbox, for those who don't should only see limited text and forms. Maybe there is a really good tutorial for this, or video?I have figured out how to create forms and that was easy enough. Bought Acrobat XI a few weeks ago for my wife (it is the version she needed).  Did a clean install on a new machine and activated properly, no problem.  It has worked exactly as it should.Tonight she did something really horrible, she accepted to do an update.  At the end it failed, unable to reach the Adobe server to activate. Troubleshooting, it seems that it cannot reach the Adobe server.  I tried on my machine and I couldn't reach it either; it is refusing connections.Was this intentional, a way of killing older versions of Acrobat?  She can't use the newest one, it must be XI pro.  Does the server still exist?Does anyone know a workaround which will restore Acrobat XI on her machine?  Should I delete it all and reinstall from the original CD?  And tell her to NEVER EVER accept "updates"?

I am making a very complicated form where the user has the option to add new users and make selections based off of selections on the static (non-spawning) pages. The first three pages are static, and the last two can be spawned (in order) unlimited times. The selections made on the first three pages can impact what is shown on the spawned pages (when new users are being added). I am currently struggling to create a script where the fields updated on the new pages (as the name of the field has changed) to reflect any change (on the first three pages) that may be made after the page has been spawned.  The form is able to use the logic on the dynamic pages as the field name has been updated, but it does not work when the fields on the new page need to be based off of the static (non-spawned) pages. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
