greetings I have a question regarding something I think it would be very useful for what I want to achieve.I have multiple PDF forms that have document javascript, and I am constantly doing updates and improvements to them. they of doing it is by modifying the script and using Action Wizard and this.addScript( etc., this takes time and as I have to make them in small groups because it in large quantities it crashes.my problem is that the files are too many ~2000 and to do the updates, Typically I need to take them with external disc and do the updates at home where I have my Acrobat Pro DC. I had another prospective of making a folder level javascript to do the changes once and be reflected on app level, but unfortunately the work environment prohibit this method.My question is there any way to do remote updates for document level javascript? like uploading the files in a server and do the thing ?I was trying to search the internet for server side script and so just to know if it appli

Hello,I'm trying to make a stamp with 4 fillable fields. I don't need any date scripts since the employee wants to type in any date she needs. I've never done scripting so I've been searching everywhere for the basic script that I could just change some name fields. I've been tasked to create a simple form to help sales reps in our company calculate their bonus. I am a creative person, but not a coding/technical person, so I have this cool idea in my head but I don't know how to make it work. I've scoured the internet and forums and have found some helpful threads but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. So here's what I'm trying to do:Our sales reps have 4 targets that they need to hit (ex./ "category 1," "category 2," etc...) Depending on how many of those targets they achieve, their bonus can increase.- Example:/ If a sales rep sells 10 units and only hits 1 target category, then their sales are multiplied by $10. If another sales rep also sells 10 units, but hits 2 target categories, then their sales are multiplied by $20. 3 targets = multiply by $30, and all 4 targets = multiply by $40.The way my form is set up is I have a field for the quantity of units sold, where they simply input a number. Hey All,Working on a form project and trying to spawn templates that I preset and setPageLabels as they spawn. In an attempt to handle for permutations on which page number additional forms will be rendered to I decided to take the approach of setting labels and deleting them by label when the user clicks on the cross radio button to .value === "Off". The code below works in Pro, but when I attempt to do it in reader only the first page of my templates gets rendered and it is set to the pageLabel of the first 2 pages. I have 2 forms that are basically the same. The content, fieldnames and script are the same however one file has additional pages. The forms have a checkbox where in users will click it if they are done filling up. The checkbox has a script that verifies if all the required fields have been answered, if completed it will have a check, if not a textfield will show up and list all the items that must be completed.The problem I have now is that the checkbox of form 1 is not validating correctly. When I click the checkbox on an empty form, it still shows the check sign.Form 2 on the other hand shows the fields that need to be answered.Fields of the additional pages in form 2 are not included in the checkbox script so that isn't the problem.Any tips on how to figure out why form 1 isn't working?

Working with a series of multiple questions, when an answer box is selected, is it possible for the number of the box clicked on to show up in a different area on the page?

I am using the file at https://www.pdfscripting.com/public/FreeStuff/PDFSamples/ImExportAttachSample.pdf for uploading and downloading attachments. But when downloading the attachments the extension is getting lost. So, how to retain the extension? I am uploading files with extensions like docx, png, jpeg, xls, etcI am open to other suggestions to for uploading and downloading attachment to pdf file.

Is it possible to extract the formatting property of a text field with a script?

The only way this field should populate a yes answer is the first If statement. Ok so the problem I'm having building a PDF where I have to use checked checkboxes to determine a specific total amount that is entered into a different field. The issue is that there's no way to calculate the amounts with the checkbox value alone because the math doesn't split evenly. The price is based on a step up of $50 for each additional box that's checked. Is there a way to show a specific total/text based on how many of the checkboxes is checked? Or is there an efficient way to give the 1st checked box and value and then add the additional $50 for each additional box checked?I need a script that shows a total based on three different scenarios:any 1 of 3 boxes checked = $375any 2 of 3 boxes checked = $425any 3 of 3 boxes checked = $475Normally I can tailor scripts to suit my needs, but this one has me stumped because I'm not even sure how to phrase my search. Hi,I'm trying to make some of my fields calculate basic math like adding two fields together as a sum in a third field and making fields link to have the same number in them throughout the pdf document. Attached is the form I am trying to add the calculations to. Fields "Undefined 6 and Undefined 7" should be the sums of "undefined" + "undefined 2" and "undefined 4".Thank you for any and all help!!! Hi.Complete beginner here and I have been trying to find information on the forum pertaining to my dilemma but have thus far been unsuccessful sadly. Im trying to get a ListBox to add a value into a Text Field depending on what is chosen in the listbox. The ListBox contains choices which represent values in other calculated Text Fields fields. For example, I have choices Bananas, Oranges and Apples in the List Box. What I want to appear in the chosen Text Field is the amount of fruit of the chosen fruit. This information has been calculated in 3 otherText Fields on the page called either BananasAmount, OrangesAmount and ApplesAmount. Do I only need to script the Text Field where I want the information to be put or do I need to prep the ListBox or the other 3 text fields in anyway?My searches here have given me this which does not work but might be a beginning. Hi - I'm struggling a bit with a simple field validation issue. Based off of one field (called "NUMBER") I would like the following to appear (and the rest to disappear if not applicable) within the following ranges:0-499,999 would trigger "Field 1"500,000-2,499,999 would trigger "Signature Block A"2,500,000-5,000,000 would trigger "Signature Block B"5,000,001+ would trigger "Field 2"I can also post the custom Java script if that helps but I have no luck with this custom code as of yet.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hello,as the titel states i want to lock being able to add or alter additional attachments after the user has added an attachment.the trigger is not that important, even manually locking it would be fine.is there some way to realize this?

I'm just starting out trying to get my head wrapped around acrobat javascript to try and automate some things, and thought I should try and so some simple tests.So, I have the following function.function Alert () {  console.println(doc.getField("PC").value);}And in the Validate tab for the "PC" field, I have set"Run a custom validation script:"Alert()Yet when I look in the console, the value it prints is the value BEFORE I make a change. For example, if the value in the PC box is "Bob" and I change it "Alice", then it will print "Bob" instead of "Alice".How can I get the new value for the field in the validate script?

So i'm making a PDF for a game i'm making. I make a drop down field that decides whether a gear used is armor or shield. If it's armor, then the Defense field I added will be added to the armor spot, and if its a shield, to the shield spot. How would I do that?Basically, if something is an armor, and it gives two defense, it shows +2 in the armor section. If its a shield and gives +2 armor, it shows + 2 in the shield section. I'm new to this program, and don't know any javascript.

Hello, I have been reading few answers in this forum but none is about my case. I'm trying to add an IF / ELSE statement to a quote form in PDF but is not working and obviously I'm writing a wrong code.I have a drop list called "STATE" and another text field called "FL_CALC". Now my question is how can I get a numerical result result in "FL_CALC" field depending the selection made in "STATE"  field?All that I need is: that number "145" appear in "FL_CALC" field when you choose FL state in "STATE" field... if you choose any other state, then in "FL_CALC" appear 450. Is this possible?

We have a PowerBuilder application that generates pdf files by printing to the Adobe PDF printer, named automatically by setting a registry entry, then, once created are read into a PowerBuilder blob variable and saved in an Oracle database.  All works fine until we run it on Windows 10.  The file is created ok to the file system, named appropriately, but then the PB FileRead fails.  It is almost as if Acrobat still has a lock on the file.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks

I need to set the page labels in a document, but I don't want the label to include the sequence number.There doesn't seem to be a 'cStyle' parameter that corresponds to the 'None' option in the interface, is there a way to do this where I can just set the page label to a prefix without the numbering?
