I'm attempting to insert an existing pdf into an open pdf after a specific bookmark using javascript.

I have a two page form, created in Acrobat DC, that contains a table on the second page for entering information about purchase order line items.  If the user needs additional lines I have included a java code button on page 2 to open a hidden template page.  The user can continue to add more pages as needed.  Is there a way to have these added pages sequentially numbered (beginning with page 3) at the bottom center of the pages?

Hello there,I have a document numbered 1 - 100.   I have a second pdf that is also numbered 1 - 100.  I'm trying to merge the 2 PDF files into one, but to keep them in the same sequence.  So page 1 from document 1 will be followed by pg 1 from document 2.  When I try to merge the file currently, it simply drops in the 2nd document at the end or beginning.  I can manually insert them, but this is a test for a larger project.Would appreciate any suggestions.Thanks

I made a stamp that works. It fills in the individual text fields. It's based on the app.response type. What I'd like to do now is, is to have all the selections populate into one text field instead of populating each of the individual text fields. In essence to compose a sentence of the selection information I make. I need help doing it can someone chime in as to how I can accomplish this? If this can be done? A little example would be very helpful. Thanks.

I am trying to figure out how to check a certain textbox contains a certain word in either upper or lowercase (XPO). If it does, then perform one action. I have created a form in Livecycle Designer ES4, done a Preview and opened the file in Acrobat Pro. The window where the script is supposed to be is empty and so I cannot put in breakpoints and debug. I am making a form where letter grades will be entered. I need the form to convert the letter grade into a number value. The corresponding number values will be added together to calculate a total in another field.For this scenario, A = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D = 1, F = 0. For reference, some of the field names are "ELA1", "ELA2", "ELA3", and "ELA4".I am new to this and can't quite find a similar solution. Thank you for any help!

I recently updated to the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. When I receive a pdf as an attachment to an email, I can't save it to my hard drive. I could before. What's wrong?

Hello -I want to create a conditional script to send an email if a certain form field includes specific text. The form is already made to automatically be sent to a set array of emails when the user pushes the "Submit Form by Email" button, but I want to add a script on top of that that will submit the form additionally to another email address when there is specific information included in a specific field. Is there a way that I can do this? I'd really appreciate any help. Thank you!

Or just replace the image with a repaired one. I have a 160,000 page PDF and on every other page, there is an image background.  Part of the background is a solid color that needs to be replaced with a different solid color.  The problem is that the text above it is variable so I either need to put the box between that image and the text above or find that text and recreate it above the new box.Any ideas (I'm relatively new to Acrobat Javascript)

Hello,I am using Adobe Acrobat Standard DC. I have created a static form. I want to convert it into a dynamic form which expands depending on the input from a flat file.For e.g. : If  a row looks like the one given below, I want the rows to have only that many lines as the input data file. I do not much knowledge in JavaScript. Is there a way to do this? The input data for this will be in an array. So if the array has only 1 entry, only one row should be displayed and the position of rest of the form should be adjusted accordingly. Any info regarding this greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a form that has spots for first floor and second floor elevations for a house. Unfortunately not all of the houses have a second floor. Is there a way that I can prompt the user to ask if there is a second floor and if not have it place N/A in the box and if so have it add 9 feet to the first floor. Can anyone help with this? reading and writing test fields are number based on values from 0-120, any field marked with a Q is a checkbox field. I am working with text boxes, I have already run calculation scripts to return a value based on other field selections. Those values are all being returned correctly, however based on the nature of the form some of the values returned include the word "and" while others may include the word "or" the text color for the entire field is currently blue but I would like to bring attention to those words "and"/"or" by either assigning them a different color or bolding them.Example:MTH 35 - Intermediate Algebra AND MTH 123 - College Algebra and TrigonometryI want them to stand out from the rest of the text. I don't know if this is possible, I imagine it could be a validation script or something but I am not sure how best to set it up.Any help would be great, I've tried reading documentation but I haven't found anything that similar to what I want to do.Thanks in advance!

I am wondering what the best approach for this would be.Here's my problem at hand:Hopefully this can be done on a web page (ASP.Net)...1) Allow user to open a previously created PDF2) when the user click son the document, I create a bubble\Oval where they clicked3)  this click will open a form (specific to that click) and allow the user to enter data (maybe 5 fields) attached to a databse4)  if the user clicks another area, it replicates the same steps listed above5)  user can then save the document6)  if they re-open that doc again, it should show all the bubbles\ovals create on page and when each bubble\oval is clicked, it displays that form with the data previously enteredWhat is the best approach to take here with Adobe products? Buy acrobat along with the acrobat sdk?  I will install this on a customer's iis box.  Not sure how licensing occurs here with multiple users etc...Thanks,Tim

For the life of me, I can't use this function correctly.  I just want to spawn a blank template and have the page be correctly numbered in the bottom when the user completes the form but needs another page to go on.If I leave the template visible (as page one), it duplicates a filled copy of my template.  I need the new page to be blank.  So I figured the template needs to be blank and hidden. for it to spawn correctly.To hide a blank template, I first need to spawn a copy with bRename: true which correctly puts a prefix to the page created "P1".  But once I spawn a second page from the hidden template, it has the same prefix of "P1".  Then the others gets incremental correctly.  So the first two pages are still Identical.and for the page numbering I have these 2 calculate scriptevent.value = this.pageNum + 1  //this value changes according to the page a value has been changed onevent.value = this.numPages //this show the correct valueWhat am I not ge
