Hey Guys!I found a lot of information online on how to create a custom dynamic stamp - success after a few goes of adding in text and creating a form field to add javascript code for the date section.Then I managed to work out the tricky part of actually importing this stamp to work as dynamic (seems most online resources are outdated) including editing page templates and copying the file over to ENU stamp folder in the Adobe Program Files directory.Now my only problem is the stamp that I imported is pasted in as an entire A4 page with my small stamp in the corner. The stamp is the correct size and I can paste it in just where I want it but there is all this blank space that looks to be part of the stamp. It doesn't affect the look but it messes with the documents because it is harder to insert other text or comments in a space that already has a stamp on it - even though it is just blank space covering most of the document...I tried cropping the stamp file but this appears to complete

I have some code that allows the user to select from a dropdown list, and based on that selection, another dropdown list is populated with specific selections.  Once the user makes a selection from the next dropdown list, 3 text fields are populated (this information is coded into the Document JavaScript).  I am running into an issue where I am trying to add a new selection to the second dropdown list, and its corresponding information to the Document JavaScript, but nothing is happening when I select the new addition (i.e. the text fields stay on the previous selections information).  I've double checked the code and seems correct, it just doesn't seem to want me to add another selection!Any insight would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.Gary

I used adobe acrobat pro to make a binder of duplicate forms and when open on my iPad using the reader app I can fill in the forms, but because the forms are all duplicates, all of the box names are the same, so each page comes out identical. I can't just rename the boxes because each form has over 200, and it would take forever since I have 10 of the forms in the binder. I tried creating a portfolio, which seems to have worked, but once i open it on the reader app, it says "modifying the document is not allowed because it is an attachment". Does anyone have a suggestion on how to either fix the binder so that all of the boxes are not named the same without manually changing the names individually, or a way to make the portfolio editable, and not viewed as an attachment?

Hello all!I have a pdf (well several) that contains an image box.  Is it possible to use either java script or the action wizard to:1 - replace the image with the next image in a file,2 - save the pdf as a new pdf3 - save the new pdf as a jpeg4 - repeat indefinitely until all the jpeg have been used and all the pdfs/jpegs have been created?Would LOVE input!Peggie

Hello guys i need your help,i have 5 Checkboxes. Everyone of them can be checked or unchecked by itself. If the 5th Checkbox is checked, a RadioButton with 2 options should be activated. If the 5th Checkbox gets unchecked the linked Radiobutton should be unchecked and deactivated, so that both options are blank.So my first question is what to write in js and my second question is where to write it or which trigger i need to choose.I've tried it now for houres and didnt come to a close, i hope u can help me.Below u can find what i already tried. I'd like to program a "bug" into a proofreading test form I'm working on. The form is just a text field and my idea is that every so often, when a character is pressed on the keyboard, the field will select a different character to input into the field rather than the one pressed based on the character count. Input example: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.Output example: The quick lrown fox tumps overjthe lazy nog.In the output example, every 10th keystroke is replaced by a letter 10 places after the letter pressed on the keyboard. (A-Z & space = 1 through 27)I'm not a whiz with JavaScript, but not entirely uneducated either. The only part that's eluding me is the "I'm pressing 'A'! Why is the &$+!?#@ field printing a 'K'?!" effect. Can such a thing be done?Thanks in advance!

I have 2 pdf form documents that I created.  When these documents are opened, there is focus on the first instance of a multiline text box. You can see the text cursor blinking there. I see this behavior even though I did not setFocus via javascript and the focused multiline form field is not the first field in the document. I tried setFocus via javascript open page action on the first field.  There is now focus on the first field but the multiline textbox retains the text cursor(which is now frozen- it stops blinking). Is there any way to fix this programmatically? I ultimately do not want any focus on any fields when I open the pdf document.  I tried various code but it did not work. I did manage to fix this issue by reinstalling my Acrobat Reader - even though the Acrobat Reader is the same exact version.  My colleague had the same issue with his Acrobat Reader so I am afraid customers will see this same issue.  I was using Acrobat XI Pro for development. I'm trying to display a different page 2 based upon checkbox selection and I have the below function at the document level, which is called upon for each checkbox and it hides and shows the template beautifully. However, the template appears at the end of the document (page 3 of 3) and I would like for it to always display as page 2 forcing the previous page 2 to the new page 3. I could use a little help (or a lot...), please. I've got a calculation on a membership dues form that has totally taxed my brain. I will be adding an image, also. Hopefully, with everything I have included, someone can help me out.I'm creating a membership dues form for members of a trade association. What we are trying to do is create a form that self calculates, so all they have to do is return the form with their check or go to PayPal to send in their dues. I'm using a bit of complex code (and I'm trying to stay away from global variables) to have a checkbox within an app.alert window that upon click wound spawn a template. I have both codes (one for the app.alert with checkbox, and one for the spawn/delete) but cannot seem to link the two together well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a mandatory date field on a form, however I also want the user to be able to custom type text as well (e.g. "Unknown"). I still want the drop-down date picker to be available and it to be formatted as mmm d, yyyy. Is there a way to remove the date validation from just this one field, or is there a script that can be added that makes adding text optional?

When  create a text field using acrobat pro dc and select multi-line and Scroll Long Text as options, not all the text entered will print.  It only prints what you can see on the screen.  Is there a setting I am missing to make the boxes expand to full text when printing?

I have forms which have had pages rotated in Acrobat (they come from InDesgin files with vertical spreads, where half of the pages are rotated 180°)In Acrobat, I usually rotate the pages back 180° to proper reading orientation, but there is an issue if the user opens the form in Apple Preview. Apparently, Preview doesn't recognize the form field rotation; the page views in proper rotated space, but the fields do not.I'd like to be able to clear the PageRotation WITHOUT rotating the page - i.e. change the 180 to 0 for the page, while maintaining the current page orientation and field locations.Is this at all possible?

Is there anyway to circumvent the adobe reader print limit of 999? I've been using foxit reader, but that program moves the fields I paced on the pdf slightly.

I have a form that we enter the social security number in three different fields at the beginning of the form and then combine those into one field for auto insertion into other fields later in the form.The coding listed below works real well except when you enter something like 123 04 5678 it shows 123-4-5678. We need that missing zero to show. I have spent hours looking on the web and have tried things like  "toString in the "this.getfield' line, padding the fields with blanks, and others on this website and nothing works. So, I have a form I am editing that someone else created.  Using adobe Acrobat Pro DC. In this form I've got checkboxes.  The first checkbox has javascript that I want to affect multiple fields - by showing or hiding them based on if the box is checked or not.  For background, the box is called "Brkfst", is the first box in the form and if checked, two other fields should appear - 1st is basically a label for the second box.  The first box is set to hidden by default and marked read only.  Default is set to the label title I want to show.  The second box is a text box for user input and is set to hidden.The code I am trying to make work is in the actions under the Brkfst check box, and is set on the mouse up action, to run the following script:var fieldHide = event.target.isBoxChecked(0)?display.visible:display.hidden;this.getField("Expected Brkfst").display = fieldHide;this.getField("BDeliver").dispay = fieldHide;This code wasn't in the form when I got it

I need some help to see if its even possible for a message to display if I person enters a date, that is less than 2 days from today.  The message would just be a read only pop up that warns the form completer that if their event is less than two days from now, they should call a specific person to arrange their reservation space.  I tried some options in LiveCycle but I think LiveCycle is a little more complicated for me and the date field threw the message no matter what date was entered.  So now I am using Acrobat Pro DC.  And the field is currently a date field m/dd/yy format.  No other validation or calculations currently set on the field.I'm not a coder, so I may just be overthinking it or the script I'm looking for isn't a scripting thing at all but some other option I'm not aware of.  I don't want it to stop the user from entering the date, but prompt them to call ahead because of short notice.
