Hi,We find two issues related with Adobe Acrobat Reader:Win10 32bit: can not preview with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC(latest version) or Adobe reader XI installed. Win7 32bit: can preview but exit slowly with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC(latest version) installed, normal with Adobe reader XI installed.The reason for can not preview: method DoPreview() return E_FAIL.The reason for exit slowly: method release() is slowly when first time close the preview.Please take a look at the demo in attachment, we are  looking forward to your reply, thank you very much. Hi. Is there any API samples on how to create a dialog window/create the side panel in Acrobat?I would like to create a dialog window for the user to input their name, age, etc. rather than directly entering in the field. Or it can be a side panel for the user to input the values that they want.Any advice?I appreciate your advice.

I'm not 100% percent sure how to word this, but I need a dropdown menu to show only a certain selection based on a field. I will explain what i'm doing. I have a form with three fields. One is Manufacturer, One is Product, and the third is Product color. The Manufacturer and Product field automatically are populated based on a checkbox selection I have of products. So based on what they click on the checkbox, I want the drop-down to only display product colors based on the Product that was chosen. Is there a way to do this? Maybe some sort of script? I am open to all ideas or better alternative on how to approach this.I inserted screen shots of the form I have to give you a better idea.

Hello All!I am working on a project at work where I allow the user to assess some hazards to their location. The result is that the hazards are given a value and a qualitative ranking. I now need to be able to move those hazards to a ranking list, but have them sorted, highest to lowest, based on their output value.For example:HazardValueQualitative RankingTornado50HighHurricane45HighEarthquake38Mod. LowFlood11LowBefore that they would be in order based on the user's initial input: Hurricane, Terrorist, Flood, Earthquake, Tornado.My thoughts are this: The values of the hazards would be assessed, maybe into an array, then placed in highest to lowest order into the next page (where the ranking occurs), and then the corresponding hazard is found and moved to the hazard text field, next to the value text field.If this isn't possible, then I will need to investigate other ways to potentially produce this output, as it is a necessity of this project.I currently have this

Hello guys,I´ve had some very basic programming a long time ago, but javascript wasn't one of them...I have this (a form I created):and I need to know how to make it so that once you fill in a number, it goes to the next text field on it's own.Those are all 1 character limit text fields, let's assume they're called T1, T2, T3 (...) and so on. How do I make it so that once the first text field (T1) reaches that 1 character limit, it automatically moves me to the second (T2)? I saw some answers on the forum wich seem to explain how to do this, but I coudn't figure out wich parts of the code to change/adapt, nothing I tried worked

I have the full version of Acrobat. I want to be able to integrate the Acrobat PDF -> Word/Excel functionality into a third party application. Is it possible for me to achieve this using existing APIs or SDK or it's only possible to do this manually?

Hello!I need some help with how to make calculations on radio buttons.So, I have these two tables with more choices. The user can choose just one option(radio button) on each of the tables. After the user select a radio button for each of the tables, the selected options (numbers in the right side of the radio button) - option table 1 + option table 2 -  needs to be calculated as a sum. I need to know how can this be done in Acrobat Pro.Thank you !!!

Hi!Created an interactive PDF wayfinding map tool with multiple pages for large touch screen interaction. User wants file to return to home page after an inactive period (such as 5 minutes or so). Is there anyway to apply javascript or actionscript to the PDF file to force the file to do this?

When I combine my files into one PDF document in Acrobat Pro X, and I try to add text editing where needed, the program frequently crashes. I am using Windows Pro 7.  It seems to happen most frequently on my larger documents of 150 pages or more.Is there a "fix" for this?Thanks

Dear Support,Recently we are trying to develop an additional plug-in for Adobe Acrobat Reader 2017.The version we are using is Adobe Acrobat Reader 2017.We are creating the plug-in using Javascript. The Plug-in is put as a button with action to export the annotation file (.fdf)When opening the PDF file in the Native Application, the Plug-in is Active. Yet when we open the file in the Web Browser, the Plug-in is disabled.We need to have the Plug-in to be functioning in the Web Browser (Internet Explorer), since that's the use case that we need to be done.Any suggestion regarding this issue?Thank you for any assistance.Regards,Adam.

I'm pretty much a novice, but able to get some decent engineering calculation worksheets built. I have a series of dependent calculations that after some user input calculate the depth of a modular water storage tank. The final depth result field has a calculation script and it set to read-only. I want to add plus/minus increment buttons to allow users to see what the water volume capacity will be if they decrease the depth by the one module (the value is 0.33). I tried various scripts from forums, but none work. None give an error - they just don't work. I have a feeling because the rest of the calculations on the sheet are dynamic (i.e. if the user changes an input value, everything recalculates), I am not using the correct script. I simply have 9 columns trying to calculate 9 site body fat in a .pdf form. I chose column 5 randomly for this example that is not working.  I have no preference over option 1, or option 2.  I just need the form to work. Hi all,I have to bookmark multiple PDF files reflecting the file name of the document (275 files). For example, if the document name is Javascript 2018.pdf, the bookmark will be Javascript 2018.pdf (I was already able to come to this step). The only thing I do not want is that the bookmark contains the '.pdf' part. Is there a script to remove this part of the bookmark in all files at once?I am not really familiar with Javascripts, so you help is much appreciated.Thanks,Maikel

I have a form with several drop-down fields, representing rooms. The dropdown values are from 1-10. In this form, the zip code field is empty by default and the county field is set to "Forsyth" by default.
