I am new to Java Script and am trying to work out the followingI have a form with radio buttons.  And a variety of skills observations. Each observation has been marked as a group with different values 0, 1 or 2 depending on the level.I would like my total box to calculate the number of times the '2' button has been selected and '1' button etc. Help!!!

Hello there,I have just purchased a new mac running on OS X El Capitan and noticed that some of my Adobe products have issues or do not transfer properly to this OS platform. I am using "Adobe CS5 Premium" and "Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro" and have come across the 2 following issues thus far:1. Adobe Illustrator CS5 crashes every time I use the eyedropper tool. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Not sure yet what other issues I will encounter as I have yet to test all the software included in the CS5 Premium package.2. Also, when I bought the "Adobe CS5 Premium" package for use with Design/Web, it included "Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro", for which I also have the product serial number (shown as registered in my Adobe account). I downloaded it from the following Adobe downloads site: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-8-9-product-downloads.html and it will not open at all (I realize it is an older version). Hello everyoneI'd like to insert a PDF as a watermark on odd page numbers in a specific page range of another PDF. My problem with the code below is that the loop doesn't work. The watermark is always inserted on all pages of my target PDF (all 600 pages). Even if I replace the variables with fixed numbers, the watermark appears on all 600 pages.I have to say, that I'm a beginner regarding JavaScript. I am trying to create a plugin that redacts words in the same fashion as the ones you are creating manually. But I am having a hard time figuring out how this can be done. I have played around with PDRedactParams and PDApplyRedactionParams but with no luck. It always create the redaction with my "custom" values for color etc.So what I am basically asking is how to programatically create redaction annotations with the same parameters as used in "Properties" for redaction annotations  in Acrobat DC?

Hi,I used the library provided by datalogic(acrobat's) in my Java Program to extract the content from a pdf file, but after extraction, the content has symbols and non understandable fonts. The same program works fine when I extract the content of another pdf file.Can you please let me know how to read the exact content from the pdf file avoiding the symbols and various non understandable fonts.Thanks,Mahesh

hello,I am trying to create a folder level script that will save the file as a specific filename based on the form field data of 2 form fields. I understand that it needs to be a folder level script for proper permissions, but I can't seem to get anything to work. I have searched around a lot and have seen too many lines of code. If anyone can help me from scratch, I feel it would be better to start fresh.The file name should look like this: current folder/W.O. "text1" "text2" "text3".pdfText 1 is a number only field, text 2 is a general text field and text 3 is a date field (ideally this would change the long date to a short date such as Sept 3, 2018 rather than September 3, 2018.Need help with this script, installing the scrip in acrobat XI program java script folder and creating a button on the toolbar in acrobat XI to launch the code.I have something similar setup in word 2010, but this seems to be much more difficult to implement in acrobat.All help is appreciated greatly.Thanks

Hello;I'm working on an Acrobat DC PDF form and need to have one field be able to extract the year (format: yyyy) from another field where the user enters the entire date (format: mmddyyyy). This second field (where the user enters the date) should also automatically add in the slashes once the user leaves the field. How would I be able to do this?Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello, I have 19 various checkboxes that have unique names. I would like it so that if I check Check.19 that checkboxes 1-18 are checked. However, if you uncheck Check.19, they all are unchecked accordingly.The export value is the regular "Yes" currently.Thanks!

Hello,In a PDF form I need to reset form fields via a Reset Button, and after that I need to do a go to label, because reset will clear a few fields that has been populated via a dialog display entry.  I need to go back where the dialog started to get the data again via dialog fields.  Your help and suggestion is appreciated in advance.  Regards,Jeff P

I am attempting to create a timesheet and so far have managed to calculate time based on Decimal value, however I would like to convert the decimal value to HH:MM with using simple calculations.  Reason for this is that the form will be used on IPAD and PDF expert which does not support some java script functions. I would like to split the decimal value into two parts being (for example 2.75 to two seperate values 2 and 75.  However no matter how I attempt to escape the ful stop form the test java script below it will not split and provide the first value. I have Acrobat 8.1 Pro. The software has started me giving trouble stating it requires activation. I bought this software several years ago and I have original box with serial number. I have re-installed the software and entered the serial number. Whenever, I tried to make PDf from my AutoCad drawings - off and on it will not print stating the software requires activation. After repairing - the software will work for a week or so and then it will quit. There are times when I try to down load PDF files from the net - it will do the same thing. When I tried to register - it says we are unable to contact Adobe to register your product. Only thing, when I re-install the software - I did deactivate the software. I am afraid - I may not be able to re-install the software because of being older version. I am not sure Adobe will activate this older version.Can somebody advice me whether I could deactivate the software when removing it and I will be able to re-install the software and shall be
