When combining files into one PDF The final output has 75% of the images at a smaller size. Each image is exactly the same size so I'm not sure why this is happening. Here is what I've been doing. Each image is 5.5 x 8.5" at 450DPII'm using an updated version of Adobe Acrobat DC. I'm selecting Create> Combine Files into a single PDF... Dragging and dropping the images (which are all the same size) into the drag area. Then I'm clicking the combine button. The program does it's thing and then spits out a PDF where 75% of the images are really small and the others are huge. I just assumed it should work. I have no idea why the sizes are coming out different in the PDF.If anyone has an answer that would be awesome! Thanks!-Derek

Is anyone else experiencing CC Acrobat Pro DC flooding the system.log (Console) on Mac OS X with hundreds of the following messages every single time you click on the Acrobat window—and know what to do about it? I've searched the forums and even Google, and not one result came up for "AccNodeMacView::mdAccessNotify". I have a two page form that need to work off one another. What I am looking to do is that if one check box is checked, all other check boxes are greyed out/disabled. However, if the check box is uncheck then those other check boxes are still be able to be checked independently of the other.

Hello, I'm new to JavaScript for Adobe forms I'm not sure of all the coding or proper terminology. So far I've been doing alright searching the forums for answers, but I can't seem to get this one right.I have two separate fields with script in them that when the boxes are checked it calculates the savings for the customer. One is for how much they would have saved if they where members and the other is how much they are saving because they are members. It's 20% difference for members and none members.I would like to put all of the script into one field to run the calculations. Hello,I work in the legal field and we like to use Acrobat to perform bates numbering. An issue I've had for a while now is when a PDF contains images of varying dimensions, a single font size bate number doesn't always scale to the image as we would like. A standard letterhead images looks perfect with a font size of, let say, 12. When the next image is an ultra high quality photo with a huge dimensions size, a 12 pt font size is impossible to read when the image is scaled to fit in Acrobat. When the next image is a logo with very small dimensions, the 12 pt font size is monstrously large and most often does not fit when printed across the image.I'm fully open to Java, VBA, or other scripting if necessary. I know I would be able to determine the proper viewing font size which could scale with images when viewed on a monitor. I was wondering if there was a way to trigger the 'Remove Hidden Information' feature that Acrobat has through JavaScript. (I'd like to run this selectively on only documents which contain certain information, which is why I'm hoping to use JavaScript rather than the Action Wizard.)If anyone has any thoughts on this or workarounds, I'd be grateful. I am trying to create Acrobat pro DC PDF's with automated table of contents. I need to create reports of project files, each sub-folder needs a table of contents that links to the individual files. Is there a way to automate this process?Also, is there a way to have the pdfs I combine update when the source file changes? I can get Word to do this, but cannot figure out how to get acrobat to do the same or even import the linked files from word.Thanks in advance for any insight!

I have a few text fields. Is it possible to type into TextField1 and when that field is full, to jump to the next text field (TextField2) and continue typing automatically. Then when that field is full, jump to the next (TextField3) and so on. Is there a javascript to do this? Can someone show me please? I need to have it done by Sunday night. Thanks so much, guys.

Is there anyway to start a saved "Action" in Acrobat Xi from VBA?In acrobat 9.0  I was able to create a batch process and using send keys (not really happy using sendkeys, but it was the only way I could get this to work),  to kick off a Batch Process.I can't seem to recreate this in Acrobat 10 and up.  Send keys no longer works as the Tools have no hot keys.Can I use the SDK to call a previously saved action?

The documentation says to use the config.js file. I can't find a path for this. I tried app.getPath("user","javascript"); and got an error. I am trying to make a form that uses an input field (Estimated Sales Price of Current Residence) to calculate the Guaranteed Homesale Program value, which is Estimated sales price of current residence x  .15. I am creating a form to fill out that will have numerical values corresponding to a measurement value entered into them. I'd like to be able to add a mouse click event to these form fields that would allow the inspector to have a red outlined transparent circle around any values that exceed the tolerance specification for the value being entered. Hi,I have been trying to extract certain set of tables that contain the transactions and the portfolio value in my monthly Portfolio statements. I tried to convert the entire PDF document with export feature in acrobat dc, but the problem i faced was that it converted the document in a very terrible formatting which is gonna take more time if i was to use it. Right now i have to manually copy data from this PDF statements and there are hundreds of them.Can someone please tell me if there is a way without using any third party software, i can extract only these tables from these statements.Statement details are as follows:1. As part of a FrameMaker based publishing system that takes XML files then outputs PDF and optionally Word files, we have to improve the quality of the Word output. The previous process used FrameMaker's RTF output, but the results were not good enough without significant post processing. In an attempt to give the customer what they need I found that Acrobat's PDF output was good enough, so all we need to do is automate the process.My developer created a folder level JavaScript that converts the PDF file which almost does what we need. Hi thereI have a strange behaviour with word finding.I want the word finder to ignore spaces betwween letters, along with punctuation marks.On some texts it does, and I get a whole 'sentence' like :"list of authorized codes"On some constructs it doesn't work and returns indiidual words.Example: "A/CODE 134 FAILS" returns as separate words. I can try to reconstruct, but it's a lot of work.I have played with the character types table, with some sucess, but incomplete.Any clue? Hi, I have a document with 120 similar text fields + 20 dropdowns. There is mainly two simple action Javascript  + 1 format script per field. I have a button to reset all fields and it takes up to 20 seconds on a regular performing computer. The action scripts weren't absolutely essential so I've tested the document without them, but nothing changed in the time it took to reset.  Also, when I open the document, it takes quite a while for all the fields to appear. What are the reasons that can make a document so very slow? Do I have too many fields? Are there other reasons that maybe I could correct? Thank you. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
