Hi there! I have a registration form when the user must select one of three check box options, each checkbox has a different export value. I also have one dropdown list with "yes" or "no" as options, "yes" needs to equal 0 and "no" needs to equal $45.00.I have a text field where I want to calculate the checkbox option and add any "no"selection to it. I'm at a total loss and any help would be grealy appreciated. Thanks!

This error message is coming up after trying to complete the following division equation to create a Percentage (which is formatted to percentage with two decimals):Openended/(Closedended+Openended) in a simplified field notation.I have tried multiple custom calculation scripts that create a null or 0 or blank field because the Openended and Closedended both are formatted to number; however, I continue to get the same error message.

It is not working,  then I added to the Mouse Up event on the Radio Button and still is not working.This what I am trying to do.  Also, what I will need to also figure out is iof the check NO, then I want to initialize the fields to the default value.  I.E. Year = "Select a year (Default value on the List Dropdown)", the other 2 fields are spaces.If the button is Yes,    Unprotect the 3 fields and make them requiredElse IF the button is No, then   protect the 3 fields and make them not required. Here is my javacript code:var vY

I am examining a PDF document and trying to determine the *earliest* date it could have been created. The original document is lost and the copy has been passed around several times so the file system metadata is useless. Internally in the XMP metadata, there are no data for create/modify dates, but it does list the XMP Toolkit version:x:xmptk="Adobe XMP Core 5.4-c006 80.159825, 2016/09/16-03:31:08 "My question is simply this: When was this version released?  It looks like September 16, 2016 but I cannot confirm this anywhere.  I believe the version release date would establish the very earliest date the PDF could have been created.Thanks to anyone who can help!

I have a javascript running that depending on a drop list selection fills from 2 to 16 fields. Upon another list selection it resets all 16 fields and then repopulats with the new data. The problem I am having is if I try an type input into the form manually in one of the fields.....it deletes as soon as the data is commited ie I hit enter. I was using a do while loop do erase the fieds and the stop(used a for loop as well) and it still erases the data as soon as you commit the data. As soon as I comment out the this.resetForm([ "" + CountA]) code,  the issue goes away, but i end up with any fields not being over written keeping the old data. I've tried using validation, mouse up/down, etc. Gots me stumped.

I want to make a dropdown list (drop1) as a required field with alert message: (please enter the delay code) if the difference between two fields (time1) (time2) is more than 00:05 (0.083333333333333) as a decimal valueAnd if the difference is lower than (00:05) It will not be a required field I want to make this script by JavaScript Any help please !?

I have folder level Javascript at 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Javascripts'. The script at this location executes when Adobe App is opened, and in this script we already have code to add custom menu items. At this point "app.activeDocs" is null or empty.I would like to execute a javascript at Document level so that I can get current 'Doc' object and set Actions (DidSave,WillClose) using 'myDoc.setAction("DidSave", "TrustedCustomSave();");'Also, this Document level javascript needs to be applicable for all pdf documents.version- AdobeAcrobat Standard DCPlease suggest a way to set actions (DidSave,WillClose) on Document load.Any help would be much appreciated.

Created a 2-page form with fields and properties assigned to them in INDD CC, exported PDF, opened PDF in Acrobat, selected "Prepare Form" only 8 of the fields created in INDD were recognized. (All but 1 field recognized on page 1 and none on page 2) Any idea how I can get all of the fields recognized according to the properties assigned to them in INDD?  thanks for any help.

I am trying to create a fillable form.  The program created many text boxes where I want check boxes.  Is there an easy way to convert many fields to a different type?  I found this 2010 answer.  Is there a source for the script or another answer that is free of charge?How do I change a field type when creating a fillable form from an existing pdf? Hello all, I'm not a javascript coder by any stretch, but I do understand coding... I'd like, if someone is willing, to help be with a script that changes a datepicker (dp1) strokeColor based on whether or not it's within 60 days (yellow) or 30 days (red) from today - all using the format yyyymmdd (in the Army lol) For example, today is 20200827 and if the date selected is 20201005 then the border of the date picker would turn yellow... Lastly, a button that would update/refresh the datepicker to ensure it was still accurate strokeColor.. Apologies for not having a working solution, I'm a noob...

I have a user who uses the Approved dymanic stamp.  She had some trouble with her install so we uninstalled and reinstalled it.  Since then, when she uses the Approved stamp, it puts someone else's name on it.  This other user as never used this particular machine and we can't get rid of it.  If someone else does sign into the machine, the stamp is correct.  Others have found an 'Edit Identity' button, but when I right-click on the stamp, I don't have that.  Ideas?  Thanks!

I have a fillable PDF with a dropdown. I followed advice I saw on here and I have a text box that each selection is saved to. But the dropbox always shows the last selection rather than resetting. I have tried many things and cannot figure it out. I used actions for mouse enter and reset a field but only the one field.I used run Javascript and entered a line to reset. I tried mouse exit, up, down, onfocus annd blur just for the heck of it.An analyst from my department spend a couple hours on it too and he said it is set right but it is not doing what it is told.The closest it gets is it resets when the mouse gets near it afterwards. Like it works like a hover not a click.I also wondered if I could have each selection on its own line in my testbox. Currently it is separated by a comma and wraps unevenly at the end of the line. I have to turn this over to an end user and I hate to give it so messy. Thanks much!

Hello experts! I was wondering if anybody could help me figure out a way to increase a list of numbers by 10%. I was trying to replace the exact numbers but then realized I would just accidentally increase some by 20% since I wasn't keeping track of what exact numbers were being changed. This is what the list looks like or the whole PDF. This is to change some menu item prices. This PDF has a total of 25 pages. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!  

I have used the two below scripts with success to cause fields to display "N/A" and become readonly when a checkbox is checked and to revert back to allowing numeric entry only that is centered when unchecking the box. I want each line to either have mileage or an expense amount, but not both.I have the total for the line to calculate mileage value if there is an amount in the mileage column or put in the amount spent, but I want to limit the user to only putting a value in one column or the other.Columns in form are:Date, Description, Miles, Amount, GL Account, TotalMiles and Account are formatted as numbers.My total column calculation if then script works but does not prevent using both. 

I have a four page document, my third page is a form that is created by selections made in pages 1-2. Is there a way to lock the third page or put it as read only? I tried locking and putting read only on the selections, but because they are copied to fill those selections, it blocks from entering the selections in the first two pages.  Would I do a script to lock each pre-populated selection on the third page or is there another way.

Hello All, I'm trying to save the PDF using FDF. It's working. When I have added the image field on the pdf and try to access it, I can get all the field except images field and Image. I would like to exract the image on the pdf. Is there any way we can extarct it. I'm able to get the images when I'm saving the PDF in my local machine then I can get the images.

I want to show or hide button based on keyboard shortcut in adobe javascript. I am using Adobe acrobat Pro. I have a compnmay logo and i need to browse the image required for specific set of users.  Hence the browse button to upload the image should be shiown  or hidden based on the  keyboard shortcut set via adobe javascript or so for those users.

I need to type in arabic text in certain textboxes and also validate the length/alphanumeric or not etc for this arabic language. For English language I know. But how we can do arabic typing in adobe acrobat proand set validations using adobe javascript

I have a table in Acrobat 2017 form.  There are 2 columns for payments to utility vendors.  One for Gas One for Electric.  What I am trying to do is total each column then sum the 2 column totals.  I can create calculations  for the 2 columns alright then sum the 2 totals, but it doesn't work like I want it to.  The first column imports payments from our database, the second column payments have to be entered by our caseworkers.  The data imports fine into tcolumn 1 of the table but does not calculate until I enter an amount in the second column then all of the calculations happen.  If nothing is entered into the 2nd column no calculations happen so if the caseworker doesn't have a payment for column 2 all of the totals stay zero.  Can this operation be done with the "Value is the sum" calculation or will I have to use Java Script to get it to work like I want it.  I don't know how to write java script.  Thanks.
