Hiya, as of today it appears that the plugin has been pulled from the Wordpress plugin site (after just one year).  Am I right in assuming that those of us that used it (and thought it was really good) were only being used as beta testers ?

Sorry to sound harsh but there was no warning and whilst the plugin still works, I obviously have to consider replacing it before it stops working and breaks everything pdf.

By way of update, I have now been able to find this message on the plugin's page:

"This plugin has been closed as of March 20, 2024 and is not available for download. This closure is temporary, pending a full review."

So hopefully it will be back and running soon...............please 🙂

Hi.

my developer has used this plugin in my website Oncoprep.in. It a great plugin and easy to navigate. But one issue I and my users have faced is that on touchscreen devices be it mobile, tab or laptop in full screen mode everytime someone tries to scroll the full screen exits. I have attached a video for reference. Kindly try to find a solution to this issue.

Unfortunately the Wordpress plugin only works with Gutenberg blocks. Let us know when it is a full featured plugin that also works with page builders like Elementor and WP Bakery (and more). It's too limited to mess with at this point.

This is something we can take into consideration. I don't agree that it's too limited, but I'm biased obviously. 😉

Understood. As a reference, take a look at the numer of active plugins for the Wordpress Classic Editor and Wordpress Classic Widgets (both of which shut down Gutenberg functions). That will give you a good indicator of the need for something that works outside Gutenberg. I'm just one guy, but with over 40 sites running using WP Bakery and Elementor page builders.

The functions of being able to display PDF's this way is great - I have a lot of restaurants where this would be awesome, but can't use it yet and just plain don't have time to do the code to just use the API.

Looking forward to hearing more about it.

Two questions:

1. I assume it's possible to dynamically pass PDF URLs to this plugin so that we show what the user selects.

Please confirm!

2. Any plans to launch a similar plugin for Wix App Market?

Thanks

1. Nope. If you are willing to write code than that's pretty trivial, but for the plugin, it's one specific value.

2. Nope, but obviously if we get enough demand for it we could consider it. Keep in mind I'm a peon here, I don't decide anything really. 😉

Hi there

We have recently published the pdf-widget Plugin which uses the same API for Wordpress, but with the focus on the integration with Elementor and just with a basic shortcode.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/pdf-widget/

Maybe there is an option to join forces and merge these plugins?
