Alter output json schema?

Is it possible to alter the output schema when using the Extract API to create a JSON file? I do not need the Bounds, ClipBounds, Font, Text Size, and Attribute fields. I only need the Text, Path, and possibly the Page keys. Is there a way to set these options in the initial extraction?
