Question

Can I pass a regex to Adobe Search API

The search API in Abode Embed viewer does not always highlight or get the search results correctly.
Is there a way to highlight approximate results?
Can I possibly pass a regex patters that highlights the search results?

Regular expressions are not supported in search API. We will add this request to the product backlog. Thanks for the feedback.

Hi Sumona, is there any update on this? Support for regular expressions is a must-have for my use case.

RegEx will become native formulas in Excel soon judging by online forums. Currently I am using via a xlsm macro from:

I've used Plumsail to do RegEx using "Regular Expression Test". I used it in a trial to show how my team can automate customer numbers and reject Emails from applicants without the full registration number at the start of the Email Subject, you can use with what ever you want to do. "IsSuccess" can be used and adding rows in two spreadsheets is a way of proving an action is successful if you dont want to do an undoable action on live systems. James.Martin@birmingham.gov.uk
