Convert PDF to PPTX images are broken

I am using nodejs sdk to convert a pdf to pptx. Conversion is being successful, but if i open the PPTX in Powerpoint I see that images are broken. Upon research I observed that images are converted to text, is there anyway i can stop this happening or any other solution will be helpful.
