Custom Comment Panel Toggle No Longer Works

Question

I’ve been using a custom implementation to toggle the Adobe comment panel by setting the

showCommentsPanel value. This approach has always worked reliably, but it has suddenly stopped functioning as expected.

Could you please confirm if there were any recent changes that may have affected this behavior? Additionally, what is the recommended way to programmatically toggle the comment panel now?

Hi! Yes this is a known issue that Adobe refuses to acknowledge. It's been going on since at least early June. The culprit appears to be a series of GET_FEATURE_FLAG errors caused by an undocumented API update that there's no known fix for. In short- it's completely broken and will be for the foreseeable future. Definitely not a good API to use for any production application.
