'Digitally Sign' from menu or using Javascript

I have to sign (with a Digital ID) a lot of pdf files with the 'Digitally Sign' feature where I have to enter the rectangle manually so it cannot be automated.
It is extremely frustrating that the 'Digitally Sign' function is only available with Tools-> Certificates -> 'Digitally Sign'.
Why it isn't on the 'Sign' menu?
Why hasn't a Hotkey for it?
Why I can't define a Hotkey for it?
Why I can't call it from Javascript?
Could anyone help make the digital signature process could be faster, easier...?
