Document Generation Create API output is an ext file

In Document Generation post requests, 

1) Exchange JWT - Status: 200 OK
2) Submit - Status:202 Accepted
3) Poll - Status: 200 OK
But why I'm getting output as ext Corrupted file rather than a pdf file ??
