Document Generation MS Word Add-in crashes MS Word

MS word freezes after using the add-in to try a conditional content condition. I am able to add the condition tag to the highlighted content, but thereafter am unable to save the file and need to end MS word using the task manager. 

I've followed Microsoft's instructions on this issue e.g. disable autocorrect, etc. at: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/using-word-templates-dynamics-365#BKMK_Important 

Does anyone else have experience with this and a solution?
