Hello, I am using the PDF Embed API. When encountering a PDF without editing permissions, is it possible to open editing permissions by entering a password?

    Not using Embed API. The permissions password is controlled by PDF author and would need to be removed using Acrobat by someone who knows the password before editing is enabled.

    Can a password box pop up to allow users to enter their password?

    Not with Embed API at this time.
