Handle refresh of data while maintaining prior text

Hi,

If I had a word template created with the Tagger Word Add-in and then generated that template with data,  typed in text on that document after the generation, saved it, then let's say a few days later need to regenerate that data because maybe there were some updates, would I be able to do that and would the text I added before the regeneration of data persist?
