Rotating a page in a PDF file in View SDK

Is there a way to rotate a page in a PDF file in View SDK, and then save the PDF with the page rotated?  We are working on an application to receive scanned/faxed documents and we expect that users will scan pages upside down from time to time.  How can we rotate the page and save it so that users can view the page right side up?

You can't do this, however if you really need a lot of functionality over the manipulation of PDF files in a server environment then there is the option of the Adobe PDF library which is in most respects uses the same interfaces as the Acrobat SDK. If you aproach Datalogics who do the licensing for Adobe they can tell you more https://www.datalogics.com/products/pdf/pdflibrary/ .

Hi epjoy0822,

View SDK does not do any manipulation to the PDF, such as rotate. You would have to rotate the source PDF document before displaying it using View SDK. You can do that in Adobe Acrobat: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/manipulating-deleting-renumbering-pdf-pages.html.

However if you need to do this in a server environment you can't use Acrobat. I suggested the Adobe PDF Library if you need to do more.
