Question

Starting today several of our PDFs are rending blank pages because the text is suddenly white.

We haven't made any changes to our use of Adobe PDF viewer in a few weeks, and today we have this issue where the PDF will load including all its pages, but you can't see whats on the pages as the text is all white.  You can use the download function and open the PDF and that version of the PDF looks normal.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?  It only affects certain PDFs but we can't seem to find anything in common with the affected PDFs.

There appears to be something either incompatible or corrupt with the file that the viewer is not able to reconcile.  The browser PDF viewer works fine though.  When we add a page to the PDF, and then delete that page and save it, the embed api viewer is able to render the PDF with everything visible.

I saw the same issue on our demo site. Clearing my browser cache fixed it.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Unfortunately several of us have tried this on multiple browsers as well with no luck.
