About to lose all my work - HELP please

I have been working on a www.gov.uk form using adobe reader and have been save the file frequently, overwriting existing.  I have gone to print some items and then cancelled that printing and the print won't cancel and I am unable to re-enter the work I have done on the document.  I am in Safari.  I have gone onto my acrobat page under tancho@tiscali.co.uk and the government form is there but none of the saved overwrites I have done.  I am now unable to access any of the work I have done - is there ay way I can get the last saved item or ahy way I can safely unlock the cancel printing item so I don't lose all my work?  Hope you can help.  Thanks Mark
