acrobat 7 prof and windows 8.1

Hi to all, I have used this programe for years now, and do not require an updated version - as for me it does a great job....that is until Windows 8 updated to 8.1 and now I cannot open the programe. It reads... Unable to open application. Error (0xc00000fd). Had Adobe got a fix for this so as I can continue to use acrobat 7?

Acrobat 7 is not supported on Windows 8/8.1

Hence, We would recommend you to update your Acrobat version.

If you want to view your PDF Files only, Please install Adobe Reader 11.
