Acrobat pro interface too large, how do I reduce it

When I start up acrobat, before I open a file, the tool bar etc is much too large.  I have searched everywhere nd can only find information applicable to pdf's etc. this I do not need at this time.  I just require to see the full interface so I can get on with doing producing documents. 

Thank you to anyone that can assist me with this issue.

    I got fed up with it. So I reinstalled it after deleting it. All seems

    fine now thank you.
