Acrobat tells me that "subscription cannot be validated" and I must use "trial mode," which doesn't work well.

I signed up for the one-year subscription and downloaded the Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. When I try to use adobe software for any extended period I get this message:

Your Acrobat subscription cannot be validated. Please see here for more information: http://www.adobe.com/go/acro_install_license_validation.

Acrobat can be used in Trial mode.

(1) Why can my subscription not be "validated?" They definitely have no trouble charging me the monthly fee. Anyway, this wouldn't be a big deal if "trial mode" didn't cause any problems.  However, using in "trial mode," Acrobat regularly shuts down while I am reading or editing PDFs, which is both frustrating and detrimental to my work.

Any help out there?

Well, you will notice that trial mode is only valid for 30 days and is counting down, so you do need to sort it. Typically this means it is having trouble reaching Adobe to check your subscription - could be your firewall.

But the crash is nothing to do with the trial; getting the subscription won't fix that, it's a separate issue.

Regarding the validation problem, Contact Customer Care.

Acrobat should work 100% normally even in trial mode; what is your installed Acrobat XI version?
