How can I use the Checkmark without having to click on it each time when editing one document?

    Hi kuhlmanl,

I don't believe there's a way to set that stamp as the default. You can set default properties for the stamp (for example, if always want to use a blue checkmark), but you will still have to choose it from the Stamps palette each time you want to add it. (To set default properties for the checkmark, place one on the page, right-click it, select Properties and change the settings as desired, and then choose "Make Current Properties Default."

    Best,
    Sara

Thank you Sara,  I was able to create a checkmark stamp which then gave me the option to "keep tool selected"

    Another question:

I work with processing orders that are signed with using the sign with certificate and saved. On occasion I need to edit that signed document by adding text.  There are at least three ways to add text and I'm wondering what the difference is.  If I choose tools then add text I receive an error if the document has already been saved and I cannot add text using the TOOLS option. If I choose fill & sign add text I am able to add text to the document.  What is the difference?   There is also a add text under annotations that is titled "add text comment"  Still what is the difference and what one should be used after a document is saved with a  sign with certificate   signature.
