adobe.com won't convert my pdf to xls

Hello, I have uploaded a 6Mb pdf file to the adobe.com server in order to convert it to excel using the adobe.com service. However, after several hours, adobe reader is still displaying the message that it is converting the file to excel. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
