Adobe export / save as function produces an empty Word document

Question

I am trying to export a pdf-document using either the export function on Adobe Desktop or save as but both produces an empty word document. It tells me that it is a scanned document (which it is not - it was generated with overleaf). How can I overcome this hurdle?

Please let us know the if the issue occurs with a particular PDF. If yes, would you mind sharing the PDF with us?

Share the exact steps you do to export PDF.

Are you using the Desktop application or trying to export the PDF on Acrobat Online account?
