Adobe Fill and Sign - Document Cloud Access

I’m liking the ability to fill out a PDF form with no fields using Adobe Fill and Sign. However, I need to access the files in my Document Cloud account. Although I seem to be able to access my Creative Cloud files, the Document Cloud access seems to be conspicuously missing. Am I missing something?

Hey Chad,

Looking at the details shared above, it seems that you are using Adobe Fill & Sign mobile application? Fill & Sign mobile app doesn't let you classify the file locations. Can you please confirm the exact version of the application you are working currently?

You may use Adobe Reader mobile app, where you can easily access the files uploaded on different locations like: Files> On this device, Document Cloud, Dropbox etc. because its sync with your Adobe account.

Regards,

Akanchha

I don't know how you can find out what version of the mobile app your using, but there are no updates so I think it's the latest one.

I think I got this answered in another post, but it seems that you just can't access your Document Cloud files from within Adobe Fill and Sign which I just find silly. I can access files using Fill and Sign from:

  • File Browser
  • Web URL
  • Web Search
  • Camera Roll
  • Camera
  • Email Attachment

But I can't access files already saved to my Document Cloud account? Another user posted that the way that it works is that once you've used Fill and Sign on a file, then and only then is it saved to your Document Cloud account. Just seems like a huge oversight unless I'm missing something. It's standard practice for me to save my files to Document cloud for access from all of the Adobe Mobile and Desktop apps. But now if I want to open a PDF received in an email, I have to go back to the email app and choose Open in Fill and Sign.
