Adobe reader no longer shows Word converter

That's odd! Do you see the Tools menu in the upper-right corner? If not, please choose View > Show/Hide > Toolbar Items > Show Toolbars. Then, click Tools, and you should see all the options related to your Acrobat.com subscription (ExportPDF, CreatePDF, and so on).
