Adobe Send & Track for MS Outlook

We are currently using Microsoft Office 365, and we are having an issue with an add-in causing Outlook to crash.  The add-in being questioned is the Adobe Send & Track add-in.  We worked around the issue by disabling it, but our supervisor would like an answer as to why this happened?  The computer has Windows 10 and the Office suite is O365.  Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
