Question

An e-template that is suppose to show currency and is not

I'm currently working on an e-template to use as a form, for our clients that is supposed to allow them to select the quantity of the item and calculate the pricing. The formula works, it does the multiplication but it doesn't show the total as a dollar amount just as a decimal point. The way the amount is supposed to be displayed is as currency and I've tried a lot of different things to try to get it to work but nothing does. Only twice have I had the amount actually come up in the form of currency and then not again after that. I have it set to show as a currency and once it is sent externally, no dollar sign.

Any advice will help.

@AMP Service Department That interface doesn't look like Adobe Acrobat's form field properties, though the functionality described—calculating an amount and setting the display format—is common in PDF form creation. If you are using a third-party form builder or e-signature platform that is integrated into or used alongside your PDF workflow. These tools often have their own proprietary interface and field settings that might differ from native Acrobat features.

You may need to look at that third-party documentation. I would look for any global form settings or template settings that control the language or locale. Ensure it's set to an English where the dollar sign ($) is standard.
