Bank statement PDF not converting entirely correct to Excel format

On a bank statement PDF I just converted to Excel, some of the information is formatted correctly (with labels on the left in separate cells from the numbers.) Other lines have the text and numbers all on one line, in one wide cell, making them unusable for computations. Please advise.

Hi Ioannes3,

Please see this document for information about how ExportPDF handles conversions: Will Adobe ExportPDF convert both text and form... | Adobe Community. In a nutshell, the quality of the conversion depends on the quality of the PDF. You can tell what application your bank uses to create the PDF by choosing File > Properties, and looking for the PDF Producer on the Description tab. It's likely that whatever the bank is using isn't writing the PDF to standards, so it doesn't contain the information that ExportPDF needs to ensure a clean conversion.

Best,

Sara
