Question

Can conversations of PDF files only be done online. I need a client to be able to convert the pdf document to a word document but I do not want them to sign in online. This is not what I signed up for?

Hi Julie,

You can convert either via the ExportPDF web interface at https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf, or by using Adobe Reader (you still need to be signed in to your subscription).

In either case, when you convert a file using ExportPDF, your files are automatically stored in your online account. You would need to sign in via a web browser, to download the file to your desktop.

Another option is to use Acrobat to convert your PDF files to Word. When you go route, the conversion takes place on your desktop, and there's no need to go online. You can try Acrobat for free for 30 days, if you'd like. See http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.

Best,

Sara
