Can't convert PDF to .doc or .docx

I just purchased ability to convert files to Word.  One PDF worked (1 page).  I am trying to convert another PDF to word and it is saying conversion failure.  I have tried using Send to Word and Adobe Document Cloud.  Any advice?

Hi everybody,

The issue you're encountering may be because the PDF file you're trying to convert was created by a third-party application, and may not be written to spec. Please see Will Adobe ExportPDF convert both text and form... | Adobe Community.

However, you may have some luck by trying these basic steps:

  • Clear the browser cache and try again.
  • If you're using ExportPDF via Reader, sign out and then sign back in (or try converting via the web interface instead).
  • Try converting a different file--if it converts without error, that would point to a problem with the file that causes the error.
  • Disable OCR as described in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (O... | Adobe Community (this step isn't optimal if the PDF started out as a scanned document and doesn't already have editable text).

That is not the issue; I converted my .docx file to pdf in error and now I cannot convert back to my .docx because the adobe will not allow until I pay a monthly fee of $1.99.... can anyone help me get my document back to .docx?

I am waiting to see an answer for this as well.  I have converted one page to excel but the next file would fail.
