Can't sign in.

I have not been able to sign in since I purchased Adobe to convert PDF files to Word files etc.  I continually get a message that tells me there's an error iwhen signing in.  I have changed my password twice and each time is says it's successful, but when I go back, I get the same old mesage.  What a waste of time nd money.
