My question is: I think that I may have signed up for an Adobe service that I will be charged for. Can someone please check this out for me? I was only interested in the service that is free.

In this community forum you aren't connecting to Adobe for the most part. But I'm pretty sure that if you didn't give your credit card, you can't have signed up for anything not free.
