Question

Cancelling a subscription

I Dont know how I finished up with an account. The first time I noticed a charge on my bank statement I found that it was the second charge I had received.

When I looked into it. I find that somehow I have been led down path to buy something, and I don't even know what products are.

So I try to cancel after paying 2 months of £19.53 for something I am supposed to download but I dont know what.

And trying to cancel is like trying to swim through treacle.

I am 67 years old and suffering from Parkinsons Disease. I think people like me need protection from these companies that get you to sign up for things by using smoke and mirrors then make it almost impossible to find a way out. The only way is for me to get my bank to stop payment.Which i don't like doing because I must take some responsibility for getting into this situation in the first instance.

But Adobe have had £39.06 out of me and I have had nothing in return.

And I think its scurrilous the way they create a maze when you try to cancel.

Has anyone else had a similar experience or am I the only silly old fool?

Hi RobertClarke74,

I'm so sorry for the trouble. I see that you have a subscription to Acrobat Pro, which was purchased on August 3. I am not able to cancel the subscription for you, but I would be happy to set up a callback for you, if you would like. Please let me know and I'll gather contact details from you in a private message. (Please don't supply contact information in this public forum.)

Best,
Sara
