I created a PDF.  It is a survey.  When I email it then numbers that I've filled out on the survey do not show.  I cannot add the numbers on the emailed form.  I have the survey as a pdf but it is stuck right there.

What did you use to fill these form fields: Adobe Reader, Firefox, Chrome, Mac Preview, Windows 8 PDF viewer, ... ?

Can you possibly share such a PDF (empty, not filled): https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1408375

    Dear Pat,

I opened the pdf survey that I was required to complete with Adobe Acrobat.  I filled in the numbers Safari, Adobe Reader, Acrobat.com.  That is sure the correct name.  I finally figured how to use Echo Sign to mail it.  It was very awkward and took hours to figure it out.  Do you know about sending documents this way?  There must be much more to learn about Adobe Acrobat than I currently know.

You don't need Adobe Acrobat to fill a fillable form; Adobe Reader should be able to do it.

To send it by email, you

    • either just attach it to a normal email message
    • or initiate the email from Adobe Reader: File | Send File...
