Cannot upgrade to Adobe PDF Pack

Hi, I just upgraded from the free Adobe reader  XI  to the Export PDF.  I then realized that I really needed the Adobe PDF Pack. I tried to upgrade several different ways and it did not work. I have an HP PC. I need to combine PDF's right away so please help! Thanks
