cinverting a pdf doc to microsoft(doc) when I type in my password although a wheel is turning the document is not converting - like frozen on the sign in screen what can I do?

I am attempting to convert a pdf doc to a microsoft(doc) format.  When I typed in my password nothing happened and the password screen stayed on.  A wheel turned on the conversion request but nothing happened - sreen frozen on the passwrd screen. What is stopping me from signing in.  I signed in to get on this site okay.
