Code appears when commenting.

When I comment in Adobe Acrobat Pro, the comment appears. If I resize or edit the comment, the code appears, e.g. ?xml="1.0"<body>,,, comment .. </body>   I can't delete the code. If I try to retype my comment, same thing happens if I then edit or resize it. I have used this software for over a year and this never happened before. I tried clicking on Properties and updating, Neither worked. Suggestions?

    Is this problem occurring in just one PDF, or in any PDF that you comment on?


    What version of Acrobat are you using, and what operating system.

    If the error is consistent and happens with all PDFs, you may want to repair the Acrobat installation.
