Coloured text in Word disappears in PDF conversion

When I convert my word documents to PDFs all the text is black, although in the original I had red text

Hello!

 

I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

 

Make sure the fonts in your Word file are properly embedded by enabling the "Embed fonts in the file" option. To do this, go to File > Options > Save, and check the box for "Embed fonts in the file".

If you have access to the Acrobat desktop app, try saving the Word file using the Adobe PDF Printer for better results.
