I combined 3 PDFs into 1 using the Acrobat combine tool, and the result was blank. What did I do wrong?

    Hi MosheS,

You used Combine Files from Adobe PDF Pack to combine the files, is that correct? What were in the original PDFs? Does the combined file have the correct number of pages (but all are blank)? How are you viewing the combined file? I doubt you did anything wrong, as the workflow is pretty straightforward. But I would like to hear more about the files that you combined, so we can figure out why those pages are blank.

    Best,

    Sara

They were PDFs I created from scanning from my printer and then save as

    PDF.

The combined files have the correct number of pages but are blank.

I try to view it by clicking on it in the "Combined files" area of the

    Acrobat Cloud screen.

    Thanks for your help.

A separate question - can I encrypt when using Standard Acrobat (not

    reader)?

Silly question, but the files aren't blank before you combine them? Have you opened them in Reader after saving them to make sure they look OK there (I know it's a silly question, but I had to ask). Do you run into the same problem combining other PDF files, or other types of files?

As for your separate question--Acrobat does allow you to assign security to PDF files.

    Best,

    Sara
