Comment becomes visible only after zooming the PDF file

When opening a PDF file from SharePoint in via https://documentcloud.adobe.com/ it happens frequently that some of the comments in a file are invisible on the document.
We've tested the behavior in different ways:
-Use another webbrowser
-Use another PC
-Use another network
-Use different PDF files
-Use different SharePoint sites where the PDF files are stored
In all cases, the same behavior happens.
In other PDF viewers such as directly within SharePoint or through the Adobe Acrobat desktop client, the comments are always visible.
In order to get the comments to show in the Adobe Cloud viewer, we could zoom in/out the document which results in the comments showing up immediately at their correct locations in the document.
What causes this and how can it be solved?
