Compress PDF file

Hello,

I tried to compress a PDF with Adobe and it worked fine. I tried with a xmp inside (factur-x for France e-invoicing, electronic invoicing : pdf file with a xml inside). The xmp disappeared, do you know if it will be possible to compress a factur-x file?
