confused and cannot read my document

I want to view adocument in  pdf file and get a code from the document but it is not in english  the document says that it should be in 5.0 adobe  reader.  how do i download it to microsoft word in english so i can put it on my usb drive as a copy in my school files folder. should I open it up or save the file on my desktop, under a file so i can reopen later.
