conversion failure

I have tried everything to convert a PDF to word and I always get conversion failure message.  I have tried small files and ones that are no larger than 8.2MB.  the smallest one is 100kB.  what can I do

    Hi goavista,

    I'm so sorry you're having such trouble converting files to Word. Let's see if we can get to the bottom of the problem. I'll need a bit more information to sort this out.

    • Are you on Mac OS or Windows? What browser are you using?
    • Are you accessing ExportPDF from a network computer, which may have firewall/proxy settings that prevent you from accessing the Internet?
    • Are you converting from within Adobe Reader, or directly via the https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf website?
    • Is the error message always the same, regardless of the file that you try to convert?

    i am on windows 7.  I have tried both chrome and IE.  i am using a PC connected directly to the network.  I have not tried disabling my firewall yet so I will try that.  i have paid version of AVG.

    I have also tried going directly from the PDF form using the tools section and then also have uploaded the file to the website and converting that directly on the website.  both to no avail.  every time I try no matter the file, i get the same message.  I have even tried exporting to Excel just for giggles but nothing.
