Conversion Issue

I just converted an Adobe doc to a Word doc. After conversion, all charaters are scrammbled together. Does anyone know how to fix ? Thanks.

It also depends on what type of pdf you are converting, the fonts embedded and fonts available on your system.

Does this happen with all the pdf's or any particular file?
