Convert scanned document into PDF

I have PDF Pack and am trying to convert a scanned document to PDF and ultimately to MS Word. How is this done?

Hi georges,

If the ultimate goal is a Word document, I would recommend against the additional step of converting to PDF first, if possible. What scanning software are you working with? Does it save in a format that Word can open?

If you don't have access to the scanning software, and saving to PDF is your only option, then you would use ExportPDF (part of Adobe PDF Pack) to convert the PDF file Word. (To convert the file to PDF, choose Create PDF on the menu bar when you're logged in to PDF Pack at https://cloud.acrobat.com.)

Thanks Sara,

Your suggestion has been very helpful. I downloaded additional software from my printer/scanner/fax (Brother) and have been able to scan the document in pdf format which can easily be converted to MS Word.

Works great, now that I have figured out the steps.
