converting from pdf to excel getting an error message

I'm trying to convert from a pdf file to excel in Adobe Pro.  I'm signed in.  I'm getting "an error occurred while trying to access the service" message.  Any suggestions?

    Hi njtaxlady,

    Are you able to log in via the web interface at https://cloud.acrobat.com? If so, click the ExportPDF tab, and the follow the prompts to convert your PDF file to Excel format.

    It downloaded the file. While it didn’t open in excel it at least downloaded. I think it was the original file. Last night I just got error messages. I was just going to the right of the pdf file and logging in and choosing export. I’ve bookmarked the address you sent me. Thanks for your help.

    You're welcome. That error you describe does appear in Reader occasionally, and it can sometimes be resolved by signing out/signing back in. But the web interface is a nice quick way to get there as well.

    With "Adobe Pro", do you mean Acrobat?  What version?

    Acrobat does not use the Acrobat.com online services; only Reader does (e.g. via ExportPDF).

    So what do you actually use: Acrobat, or the ExportPDF service?
